i wish everyday was a weekend

i sure do love my weekends.  but i can't wait to go back to our "regular" weekends.  we haven't had one in 2 months basically because jared has been working on editing the hunting video for mossback and it's due tomorrow.  he's ALMOST done and the hunting expo is february 3-6th i believe.  who'd of thought i'd be into hunting.  i love learning about the "sport".  (it's pretty interesting)  here's how our weekend played out..

friday: i got to pick up jared from the airport since he's been gone in alabama all week.  i got him a little welcome home surprise of another pair of vans.  kalel had basketball practice at 6pm - on every friday (talk about worst time for practice EVER).  then we went to cafe rio (jared, kalel, anniston, and i).

saturday: we woke up got all ready and went to the gym for kalel's game... turns out we read the wrong date for the game and missed it by an hour.  he was totally bummed.  so while jared and his buddy doyle worked on voice over the kids and i headed to the mall and picked up some new vans for kalel.  we decided to go bowling at fat cats in provo so we went around 8.. at 9 the lights turn out.  anni has been begging for weeks to go bowling so she LOVED when the lights went out and the music turned up.  she and kalel are such good bowlers.. everyone beat me the first game AND I REALLY WAS TRYING!  it was a good little family saturday night.. we made the rule "winner buys krispy kreme's" so jared had to buy us some deliciously fresh baked doughnuts before we headed home.

i love our little family weekends.

i'll leave you with the above picture from our christmas trip to san diego and the beach.  the kids loved it. i can't wait to take them in the summer.
