photoshoots

i just love photoshoots.  so much that since some of you may not be wishmaker images "facebook friend" (meaning you haven't "liked" the facebook page yet..) and i am in the process of a big makeover to my website.  here's a little sneak at some of the amazing models i was able to work with last week.

these girls above were SO easy to photograph.  they moved amazingly and their looks were in sync.

Excitement

my big photo shoot with loads of models is today - pretty excited.  i can't wait to see the looks the students have come up with.  a few of them presented pretty amazing ideas to me last week.

husband even wanted to join me to "assist".  he's a sweetheart.

major project.

i've got a major photography project coming up next week.  tuesday i did a presentation of some of my photography work for the students of Renaissance Hair Academie. (the hair school i attended).  next week we will be doing the students' portfolio shoot for all of their models.  i'm excited.  this is the type of photography i love.

sorry for the silence.  life has been busy and i've been living it fully. 

[this is my sweet friend arica's pup, hippo.  he's really cute.  and i'm really sad - they are moving to san fran.  gives me and the hubs and excuse to plan a weekend getaway to see the youngs]

may is a busy month for me.

a couple shoots coming up.
studying for my real estate exam.
taking my real estate exam in california only to have to fly home the very same day and shoot a wedding the next.
followed by a friends wedding open house the next day and memorial day weekend finishes off my busy month.



i usually like being busy but thinking about it is just making my head spin.

ohhh and i'm wanting eyelash extensions.  the hair school i graduated from does them for $25 and i was referred to someone who is supposed to be amazing...i just may be getting those done STAT this week.

i'm feeling crummy today.

i didn't get enough sleep last night - my sweet friend sarah and i were able to be apart of a 4+ hour photoshop mentoring webinar.

we learned lots but due to technical difficulties it went late into the night.
i turned grinchy.

anyone else turn into a complete grouch when they get tired?

i woke up with wonderful crampies.  (why do us girls have to suffer through this monthly)

they are bad today.  and i mean REAL bad.  pain shooting through my back and down my thighs. ouchy.

all i want is my hubs to be home and to rub my leggies and snuggle me.

i'm getting the carpets cleaned today - i'm estatic.
having 4 dogs is hard on the living room.
husband is going to be so happy that our home smells fresh when he returns.

kalel and i finished his star wars ship last night.
no lie - it looks rad.

gotta finish editing a couple shoots tonight so i can get the dvd's out to my friendlies/clients.





well -- back to negotiating short sales i go.
time to get tough with the banks.

i really should be studying.

yes you read that right.  i lindsay, need to study.  i am taking my real estate license test again in may.  yes i failed my first time.  i was SO close too.  i'm really bad at studying.  anyone have some good tips?  and if anyone has taken the CA real estate test what did you use to study?

i fly to california end of may to do a little photoshoot of my sweet friend nikki's family and take my test so i've got about a month to study.  and then i'll rush home same day i take my test to prep for a wedding i'm shooting the next day in bountiful.  i love getting busy.



now someone teach me to study.  especially since husband is out of town so i've got lots of me time.

were a success.  we did them early this morning for great lighting. (originally they were in the afternoon but there was a 50% chance of rain)  i cannot wait to see how they turned out.  even though it was bitter cold and we had to take breaks to warm up in the car it was still fun and the kids loved it!  later this afternoon we will be off to a birthday party at classic skating for the kids.  they LOVE that place.
